Signposting - Support for Parents/ Carers

This page contains some external support/ agencies that are available for parents to access.

  • St Matthews Sure Start Centre Our children, young people and families centres provide a range of services that support parents and carers to give their child the best start in life.
  • St Matthews Big Local St Matthews Big Local are providing the following support for St Matthews residents: basic meals to those in need, telephone support, a limited supply of basic hygiene products.
  • Open Hands Charity offering a range of help to local people in need, including: Food, Clothing, Furniture and Household goods Volunteering and skills development opportunities.

Turning Point are the commissioned drug treatment service provider for Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland. Turning Point are a free and confidential service, working with those who want support to stop or control drug or alcohol use. Those seeking help with any substance use issue can make contact directly, or a referral can be made on their behalf, with their consent.
