Uniform
Uniform says that we are in a community.
Wearing it says we are in this together.
Our parents voted on the pupils wearing a uniform and also wanted a change of colour to either red or blue. However, due to COVID-19, we haven't been able to look at the colours or styles parents may want.
From September 2020, ALL pupils will be expected to wear a uniform to school (items detailed below). Over the academic year we will meet with parents and gain opinions on the style and colour wanted.
Our school uniform is:
Plain shirt or blouse - white
Black sweatshirt or cardigan
(sweatshirts/cardigans with the school logo are sold through Trendy Schoolwear on Uppingham Road)
Dark grey trousers or skirt.
Girls may also wear a pinifore dress and white or black leggings with their dress or skirt.
Black sensible shoes throughout the year - NO trainers with logos and no open toe shoes in the summer.
A summer alternative for girls: blue/white dress
A summer alternative for boys: dark grey shorts
PE kit:
Plain whit T-shirt, plain dark shorts or joggers and trainers in a named bag.
Plimsolls are needed for indoor PE.
Due to COVID-19 in the Autumn term 2020 ALL pupils will need to wear their PE kit on their PE day (parents will be informed of this by their new class teacher)
