We aim to:

• Make sure the school’s premises and facilities can be used, where appropriate, to support community or commercial organisations
• Allow the hiring of the premises without using the school’s delegated budget to subsidise this.
• Charge for the use of the premises to cover the costs of hire and, where appropriate, raise additional funds for the school
• Not let any hiring out of the premises interfere with the school’s primary purpose of providing education to its pupils
• Hire out facilities in a safe way, following government guidelines and the school’s risk assessment(s)

Available areas

The school will permit the hire of the following areas:

• Sports hall – Can be made into one large and one small if required.
• DT/Food Room
• Classrooms
• Playing fields
• Music/Drama Room

Capacity and charging rates

The maximum capacity and rates for hiring in each area are as follows:

Sports hall

• Large 13 x12 meters = 156 sq. m £35.00 per hour
• Small 9 x 12 meters = 108 sq. m  £30.00 per hour
• Total 22 x 12 meters = 264 sq. m £38.00 per hour

DT/Food Room – Air Conditioned Up to 30 people £17.50 per hour

Classrooms - Capacity for 30 people £15.00 per hour

Playing Fields - MUGA £20.00 per hour

Music/Drama Room – Air Conditioned 12 x 7 meters = 84 sq. m £20.00 per hour

Main Kitchen £20.00 per hour

Use of the facilities for school holiday bookings is also available.
