Year 2 visit to Abbey Park

Year 2 had a really fun day out at Abbey Park. We walked from school to Abbey Park and the weather was sunny and warm. When we got there, we enjoyed playing team-building games on the field. We went to visit the Pet Corner where we fed the rabbits and saw goats and beautiful birds. We walked over a bridge and saw lots of ducks too. The best part was having a picnic in the park with our friends and teachers.  After the picnic we played in the play area. What an amazing day out at the park!

YEAR 2 QUIZ event at Green Lane Road Infants School

On Tuesday 14th May, Mr Cronin and Mrs Monzack accompanied six children from Year 2 to Green Lane Infants where they took part in a curriculum quiz with three other schools. Despite some tough questions, Taylor Road came second and were beaten by only one point! The children did fantastically well in showing the STARFISH values of Aspiration, Succeeding together and most importantly, Friendship.
