At Taylor Road Primary School, we want every child to feel welcome, safe, and excited about learning from the very first day they join us. Now that Taylor Road Primary School is part of Aspire Learning Partnership, our admissions arrangements follow the Trust’s role as the admissions authority while still being coordinated by Leicester City Council.
This ensures admissions are fair, transparent, and consistent across the trust’s family of schools.

Applying for a School Place (Reception – Year 6)

All applications for places at Taylor Road Primary School — whether starting in Reception or joining us part‑way through the year — continue to be coordinated by Leicester City Council’s School Admissions Service.

Aspire Learning Partnership – Admissions Authority

As an academy, our admissions arrangements are determined by our Trust: Aspire Learning Partnership. The Trust publishes the admissions policy each year by 15 March for children starting school the following September, as required by the School Admissions Code.

If your child is not offered a place at Taylor Road Primary School, you have the right to appeal. Appeal arrangements are coordinated by the Trust in line with the School Admission Appeals Code.
